A small piece of outer space is encased in this sample of Carbonaceous Chondrites.
This sample includes amino acids found from the meteoric material that falls to Earth from outer space. Two special carbonaceous chondrites found in this sample are Murchison and Jbilet Winselwan. Murchison meteorites have been studied extensively due to containing proteins encoded in the DNA in all life on Earth.
Each sample is enclosed in an acrylic jar and within a glass-topped Riker box. Product size is approximately 2cm wide by 1cm tall and samples vary due to meteoric material distribution.
